THE TOY SHOP AT THE END OF THE WORLD
(Book #3 of The Airship Pirate Chronicals)

At the top of a dusty cellar stairs, two little girls sat listening at a crack in the ceiling. Chloe and Isabella lived here beneath the floor, in the cramped and dreadful basement apartment, caring for their sick mother, for as long as they could remember. They were never told what they were hiding from, and they’ve were never allowed to leave. They would sit day after day listening to the sound of happy children above them, and wishing for a different life then the life of fear and hiding they’ve been born into.

But one day food stopped coming. In desperation, and feeling the injustice was more then they could bare, they cracked open the hatch door to find they’ve been living all long under the greatest toy store of all time. Herr Drosselmeyers Toys, The final project of the great Doctor Calvin Calgori, the very man who invented time travel, and the graceful automatons has spent the last ten years of his life relaxing, by creating the greatest toys every imagined.

Each night the girls would sneak out to play with and befriend the marvelous toys, until the horrible moment they found out why they’ve been forced to spend their lives in hiding.

This book can serve as an origin story to many of the characters in The Wrath Of Fate, and Retrograde. It can also serve as a stand alone novel. Read it first, or last.

Although safe for young readers, adult readers will also detect grittier and more adult themes that will go unnoticed by younger readers. For that reason, we recommend this book for everyone.

RETROGRADE
(Book #2 of The Airship Pirate Chronicals)

In this sequel to The Wrath of Fate, the Airship Ophelia lists, burnt and broken, in a tropical sea. Her crew has been scattered across the face of a ruined world, or lost in time, and now it is my job to pick up the pieces.

What’s to become of my wife and children, whom I left in the aerial city of Isla Aether? This was one of the last of the free cities, held aloft over a world given back to the beasts. I fear this city will be a target now that the Emperor’s life, and mercy, is at an end. What would become of Kristina if she was taken back to a life of servitude in the walled cities? What would become of the children if they were left wandering alone in wastelands filled with nomadic tribes and prehistoric predators?

What is to become of young Lilith Tess, who jumped ship in the 1930’s only to be lost in time? I saw her again, here at the end of days, and she was a queen. What journey did she take that led her to this fate?

And perhaps least important of all, what is to become of me and the last of our crew? I stand here on the deck of this ship that has held me through all my misguided attempts to make the world a better place. This ship, and her captain and crew, are beaten.

Do I have the strength to pull everything together again? Do I still have the strength to get this ship flying?

What other choice do I have?

THE WRATH OF FATE
(Book #1 of The Airship Pirate Chronicals)

There will come a time when freedom is considered too dangerous. Cities are walled, and citizens are chained to round-the-clock jobs to keep them controlled and in place. Change and progress are outlawed.

There will come a time when clockworks wake up, only to find they are not allowed to be awake. They hide in fear, not daring to break their chains of slavery.

There will come a time when freedom is outlawed. Free men must scrape a living in the dirt of the prairies, or in the skies above them. These hardened men and women fight for their lives and their freedom against beasts of the field, police in the cities, and pirates in the sky.

When freedom is outlawed, only the outlaws are free.

This time will come, and it was all my fault. Sorry about that.
